Candy box with window DIY

Sometimes when I make some sweets I like to wrap them in boxes or little baggies, just to give them the extra little touch.

Spring is in the air and wedding season is on, why not make little treats and boxes for your guests or help someone make treats.  This is a plain white box with a window, but you can embellish it in many different ways.

Create cute little candy boxes for Valentine’s Day, or even as wedding or shower favors! You can cut two boxes out of one piece of 12×12 paper, so “mass production” is pretty easy. Just size each box to 9.4″ wide and each tag (if using) to 1.4″ wide (keep the proportions for both). If you want to cut a rectangle to go behind the lid window (such as clear acetate or vellum), a 2.5 x 1.25″ rectangle will do. Patterned paper shown is the We Go Together paper collection by Pebbles. Enamel heart embellishments shown are by Doodlebug Design. Happy crafting!

Recipe for the candy HERE, it is the recipe for the conversation hearts we made earlier, but MiniMe wanted to use a different shape this time.
